BESIM – High Class Carpet Dreams
Adil Besim founded a small carpet shop in 1946 on Naglergasse in the heart of Vienna. Through dedicated development work with many exhibitions, trade fairs, and activities throughout Austria, the company rose to become an industry leader and trendsetter in the field of fine carpets. His grandson, Omar Besim, now continues the company into its third generation. Today, the specialty store is located on Vienna’s furniture mile at Gumpendorfer Straße 115, in the 6th district. The sales area includes a selected assortment of modern and historical pieces. More than 2,000 carpets and kilims are available for selection. Besim has also long made a name for itself in the field of projects
for hotels and offices. From custom-made products according to design specifications and desires to finished rolled goods, all wishes are fulfilled.
In addition to the Park Hyatt Vienna hotel, Besim is responsible for the furnishings of numerous business interiors in Vienna. However, the highest accolade for Besim remains the satisfaction of its customers, a standard upheld for 78 years.
KLOMFAR VIENNA
The company history of KLOMFAR goes back to the year 1960. From the purely
functional washroom, to the modern exclusive bathroom with feel-good character: Helmut Klomfar recognized this trend towards a higher quality of life in everyday life early on. His passion for quality and design laid the foundation for the extraordinary Klomfar range, which to this day is synonymous with the most exquisite bathrooms and accessories. In 1987, together with his wife Maria Klomfar, they ceremoniously opened the shop at Naglergasse 25 in downtown Vienna, which is still considered the “trend mecca” for fine bathrooms. With the same entrepreneurial spirit as his father, son Martin Klomfar embarks on a new path. He leads the family business from a pure trader to a manufacturer of exclusive bathroom accessories. The first KLOMFAR products are created in a creative exchange with local designers and specialists from all over Europe. The secret behind the exclusive design pieces is the skilful combination of traditional craftsmanship and the latest
technologies. Since 2017, Martin Klomfar has also successfully steered the fam-
ily business into the digital age, supplying online customers worldwide.
